Devi Talab Mandir is a famous Hindu temple located in the heart of Jalandhar, India. This site holds immense spiritual significance as it is considered one of the 51 sacred Shakti Peethas. According to legend, this is where Goddess Sati's right breast fell, making the temple an important pilgrimage center for believers from all over the world.
The central element of the temple complex is a large sacred tank, or "talab," which is over 200 years old. It is believed that bathing in its waters cleanses sins and brings blessings. Above the water rises the modern temple building, crowned with a gilded roof, which immediately captures the attention of visitors. An old temple dedicated to Goddess Kali is also located nearby.

The main temple is dedicated to Goddess Durga, but inside there are also shrines honoring other deities. An interesting feature of the complex is a recent addition—a model simulating the famous Amarnath cave, a sacred place for worshipping Lord Shiva. The ancient Shakti Peeth itself, the most sacred part of the complex, is located in a small separate temple next to the main building.
