The climate of Jhansi, a gem of Uttar Pradesh, is characterized as tropical monsoon with a distinct change of seasons. This part of India is typical for its extremely hot summers, a refreshing monsoon period, and mild, dry winters, making trip planning an essential stage of preparation.

The city is situated at an altitude of about 250 meters above sea level in a subtropical zone, which results in high solar activity and significant daily temperature fluctuations. The primary nature of the weather here is determined by the alternation of hot continental air masses and humid oceanic winds, which bring long-awaited rains during the summer period.
