The Melody World Wax Museum is one of the most unusual attractions in the city of Mysore, located in India. It is not just a gallery of wax sculptures, but a unique space where art and music merge together to create a distinctive atmosphere. The museum is housed in a historic building that is about 90 years old, which adds a special charm to it.

Founded in 2010 by artist Shreeji Bhaskaran, the museum became the embodiment of his dream and a tribute to musicians from around the world. It features about a hundred life-size wax figures, most of which depict musicians playing various instruments. The exhibition is divided into 19 galleries, each dedicated to a specific musical genre — from Indian classical and Punjabi Bhangra to jazz and rock.
The museum's main pride is the largest collection of musical instruments in the state of Karnataka, numbering about 300 exhibits from all corners of the planet. Visitors can see not only realistic figures of famous performers but also get acquainted with rare and ancient instruments. In addition, the museum houses a curious collection of antique telephones, gramophones, and tape recorders, which complements the journey into the world of sounds and melodies.
