Pondok Indah Mall 1 (PIM 1) is an iconic part of one of Jakarta's most prestigious shopping complexes. Opened in 1991 in the upscale Pondok Indah neighborhood, this three-level mall became a symbol of Indonesia's modern retail culture. Its architecture is inspired by the style of Dutch colonial warehouses, which, combined with polished Indonesian marble finishes, creates an atmosphere of understated elegance.

Covering an area of approximately 58,000 square meters, the mall offers a complete shopping and leisure concept. Under one roof, it houses more than 100 retail stores, including brands like Uniqlo and Muji, as well as an extensive food court and a Hero supermarket. In 2017, Forbes ranked the complex among the top five shopping centers in the Indonesian capital.
One of the unique features of PIM 1 is its integration with other parts of the complex through covered pedestrian bridges—the North and South Skywalks. These allow guests to move seamlessly between buildings in climate-controlled comfort while enjoying panoramic views of the city and staying at the heart of Jakarta's social life.
