How to get to Ahvaz

Ahvaz is a dynamic industrial hub and the capital of the Khuzestan province in southwestern Iran, renowned for its picturesque bridges spanning the Karun River. If direct tickets are unavailable, a convenient alternative is flying to neighboring cities followed by a transfer. The nearest airports are located in Mahshahr (about 98 km away) and Abadan (112 km away), as well as in the city of Dezful, located slightly to the north.

Contrary to outdated information, Ahvaz is one of the key stations on the famous Trans-Iranian Railway, connecting the Persian Gulf with the center of the country.
