Hidden behind the lush greenery of tropical forests lies a true natural wonder — Turtle River Falls & Gardens. This picturesque 15-acre park is located in the heart of Ocho Rios, Jamaica. Formerly known as The Enchanted Gardens, the site is a harmonious blend of wild jungle and manicured botanical gardens, where 14 cascading waterfalls flow along the course of the Turtle River.

Here, you can see rare endemic plants, admire elegant bridges over flowing streams, and look into ponds where Japanese koi carp slowly swim. One of the main features of the complex is its terrain: water flows over smooth rocks that resemble turtle shells, which gave the location its name. Unlike more boisterous tourist spots, an atmosphere of peace and seclusion reigns here.
In addition to the water cascades, the grounds feature an exotic bird aviary and many cozy grottoes. Due to its beauty and diverse flora, Turtle River is rightfully considered one of the brightest "gems" of Saint Ann Parish, offering guests a perfect balance between adventure and relaxation surrounded by the island's vibrant nature.
