Located in the heart of the old city, the Aytbay Mosque is considered the oldest in Kyzylorda. This magnificent 19th-century architectural monument holds the status of a site of national importance and is one of the main spiritual shrines that Kazakhstan is proud of.

The building impresses with its understated beauty: the facades are decorated with exquisite ornamental brickwork, and the central entrance features a massive, solemn portal. Standing 14 meters tall, the mosque looks majestic and can accommodate up to 500 worshippers, remaining an important center of religious life in the region.
One of the most unusual interior features is an ancient well, 4.5 meters deep. In the past, it not only served as a source of clean drinking water but also acted as a natural air conditioner, helping to maintain a pleasant coolness inside the building even in the harshest southern heat.
