One of the main features of the Central Park of Culture and Leisure is its unique location. The park is spread across a sort of island formed by an oxbow lake of the mighty Tobol River—this oxbow is known as Bityovka. This geographical position gives the park a special atmosphere, making it a true green heart of the city, snugly nestled between Bityovka and the main channel of the Tobol.
The park covers an impressive area of about 45 hectares. This space is ideal for leisurely walks along shady paths, active recreation, or simply spending time pleasantly in the fresh air. The CPKiO in Kurgan offers a variety of entertainment and serves as an important center for the city's cultural and social life, where everyone can find something to their liking.
