Okskiy Park is more than just a green space; it is one of the oldest parks in Russia, located in the ancient city of Murom. Founded in 1852 by the initiative of Murom's governor, Prince Trubetskoy, this park has over a century and a half of history and is a true gem of the city, previously also known as Lenin Park.

Spread across a high hill that locals call Voevodskaya or Kremlin Hill, Okskiy Park offers its visitors not only shaded alleys for walking and various attractions but also magnificent panoramic views. The observation decks offer a breathtaking picture of the surroundings and the opportunity to descend to the bank of the Oka River.
The main symbol and point of attraction in the park is undoubtedly the majestic monument to the legendary hero Ilya Muromets, installed on one of the observation decks. From here, you can fully appreciate the beauty of Murom: picturesque views of the Annunciation and Holy Trinity Monasteries, the historical Zvorykin House, and the endless thick forests surrounding the city unfold before your eyes.
