Located in the heart of the city on Prospekt Lenina, the pub combined the functions of a restaurant, cafe, and concert venue. The interior, featuring dark wood elements, soft lighting, and professional stage equipment, created a unique space where fans of quiet evenings with a glass of ale and enthusiasts of loud rock concerts felt equally at home.

The establishment was famous for its European and Irish cuisine, as well as an impressive drink list including rare whiskies and classic draught beers. To the disappointment of its many regulars, after 15 years of successful operation, Joint Pub officially closed its doors on April 1, 2023, leaving behind a rich legacy in the history of the city's hospitality industry.

What to Do

Within the walls of this establishment, guests always found activities to suit their tastes. The main draw was the live performances by musical bands and stand-up comedians. Thanks to high-quality sound equipment, concerts here turned into full-fledged shows where you could hear everything from blues improvisations to energetic rock.

Gourmets were invited to appreciate the chef's skill, specializing in meat dishes and traditional beer snacks. A vast selection of Irish and English ales, along with an extensive collection of whiskies and cigars, made the pub an ideal spot for true connoisseurs of bar culture. Evenings were often complemented by sports broadcasts on large screens, bringing fans together in shared excitement.

For those who preferred more active intellectual pursuits, popular quizzes and themed trivia nights were organized regularly. The hall, with a capacity of up to 120 people, hosted everything from large-scale parties to cozy family celebrations surrounded by colorful Irish decor.

Getting There

Finding the location where the famous pub once stood is quite easy, as it was situated on one of the city's main transport arteries. Prospekt Lenina is a central thoroughfare served by most of the city's public transport. You can get here by numerous buses and route taxis heading to stops near the central square or nearby shopping centers.

For those who prefer comfort, a taxi ride from the central districts will take only a few minutes. Thanks to its central location, building number 39 is easy to reach on foot if you are already in the historical or business center. This makes the location a convenient starting or ending point for a walking route through the city.

If you are traveling by private car, you can use the coordinates 61.254488, 73.388398 for your navigator. Keep in mind that during weekdays and evening hours, parking spots along the avenue may be limited, so it is better to look for a spot on neighboring streets in advance.

History & Facts

The history of this establishment began back in 2008. For 15 years, the pub remained a constant point of attraction for residents and visitors alike, forming a true community of quality leisure enthusiasts. Over this time, it gained cult status, seeing generations of regular visitors grow up within its walls.

The pub took special pride in its musical history. Its stage hosted numerous well-known groups, including the famous Blues Doctors, who performed here in 2019 and 2022. High-quality live sound and the atmosphere of an authentic Irish pub made every such performance a city-wide event.

In April 2023, the project's long and vibrant history came to an end. The owners decided to close, announcing the news with great gratitude to their guests. Notably, the creative and professional core of the team—the chefs and servers—did not disband but moved to a new gastronomic project called Botanica.

Despite its closure, Joint Pub left a noticeable mark on the city's culture. It was regularly mentioned in travel guides as one of the best places to experience the local atmosphere and quality European cuisine, forever remaining in the memory of citizens as "that quintessential Irish corner."

Time Needed

To leisurely enjoy the atmosphere that once reigned in this place, visitors typically needed about 2–3 hours. This was usually enough for a full dinner, tasting signature drinks, and listening to live music if the visit fell on a weekend evening.

If the purpose of the visit was to participate in themed events, such as intellectual quizzes or full concerts by guest bands, guests could spend the entire evening here. The cozy interior and high level of service encouraged a long and relaxed stay in the company of friends.
