Located in the picturesque city of Al Ain, the Al Qattara Arts Centre is a unique space where ancient history meets modern creativity. This cultural site was established in the UAE within the restored historic Bait Bin Ati al-Darmaki fortress, built from traditional mud bricks. The center stands on a hill, offering peaceful views of the palm gardens of the eponymous oasis.

Today, this location serves as an important platform for the development of art in the region. Here, exhibition halls featuring works by contemporary Emirati masters harmoniously coexist with archaeological displays. A special feature of the center is the presence of specialized studios for calligraphy, pottery, photography, and painting, making it a magnet for both professional artists and curious tourists.
Visitors can not only discover contemporary Emirati art but also glimpse into the deep past. The building houses a small museum with relics found in the surrounding oases, including unique Iron Age artifacts. The Al Qattara Arts Centre is part of the Al Ain cultural landscape, which is inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
