Imagine a place where learning turns into an endless game and children's curiosity is encouraged at every step. The Fort Bend Children’s Discovery Center is an innovative interactive museum located in the suburbs of Houston. As a special project of the renowned Children's Museum Houston, this space offers children under 12 a unique educational environment recognized as one of the best in the USA.
The museum occupies approximately 12,000 square feet in the historic Char House, which once belonged to the Imperial Sugar refinery. Here, industrial heritage meets modern technology: six exciting exhibits dedicated to science, mathematics, art, and literacy are housed within the vintage walls. Each exhibition is designed to stimulate the imagination and help children master important skills through hands-on experience.
The center's mission goes beyond simple entertainment—it strives to transform the community by making high-quality learning accessible to all families. The Fort Bend Children’s Discovery Center actively involves parents in the educational process and offers special programs that complement the school curriculum. It’s not just a museum, but a true intellectual park where every young visitor can feel like a scientist, engineer, or artist.
