The modern era of the institution began in October 2020. After a major fundraising campaign that raised $15 million, the museum moved into a purpose-built 30,000-square-foot facility in Kansas City. It now officially bears the name The Regnier Family Wonderscope, continuing the tradition of inspiring learning for new generations of explorers.
