Baggage

At RusLine, carry-on baggage allowance depends directly on the selected fare. Typically, standard dimensions should not exceed 55x40x20 cm, and the allowed weight varies from 5 to 10 kg. In addition to the main bag, personal items such as a handbag, briefcase, or document folder are permitted in the cabin.

Checked baggage is also regulated by the fare type: depending on the ticket conditions, the free allowance can be 10 or 20 kg. For groups of passengers traveling together, it is possible to combine baggage allowances provided they check in together at the departure airport.

If your baggage exceeds the established limits, payment for overweight will be required. It is recommended to arrange for additional baggage in advance through the official website or mobile app, as airport rates before departure are usually significantly higher.

Special rules apply for the transportation of special items, including sports equipment (skis, snowboards) and musical instruments. Often during the winter season, the airline offers promotional terms for transporting sports gear. Strollers are transported free of charge in addition to the established baggage allowance.

Prohibited items include flammable liquids, gases, toxic substances, and sharp objects. Before packing your suitcase, be sure to check the current list of dangerous goods prohibited for carriage for aviation security reasons.

Pet Rules

In-Cabin Transportation

  • The maximum weight of the animal including the container is usually limited to 8 kg.
  • Carrier dimensions must not exceed 115 cm in the sum of three dimensions so that it can be placed freely under the seat.
  • Cats, dogs, and small domestic pet birds are allowed in the cabin.

Transportation in the Cargo Hold

  • Animals weighing more than 8 kg are transported in a specialized heated compartment of the aircraft.
  • The container must be rigid, have a secure lock, a waterproof bottom, and sufficient ventilation.
  • Transportation of large animals requires mandatory prior coordination with the airline.

Required Documents

  • An international veterinary passport with records of current vaccinations.
  • A veterinary certificate issued according to the requirements of the legislation of the country of departure or destination.

Cost and Preparation

Animal transportation is a paid service and is not included in the free baggage allowance. We recommend feeding your pet no later than 4 hours before departure. Be sure to contact the RusLine contact center to confirm the possibility of transportation on your flight, as the number of animals on board is limited.

Loyalty Program

Loyalty Program

At the moment, RusLine does not have a classic bonus program with mileage accumulation for flights. Nevertheless, the airline is actively developing a system of corporate discounts and special offers for regular customers and groups of passengers.

Opportunities for Passengers

  • Regular seasonal ticket sales with significant discounts on popular destinations.
  • Special fares for youth and seniors on subsidized routes.
  • Loyalty programs for business travelers, allowing for the optimization of business trip expenses.

It is recommended to follow the latest news regarding the launch of new bonus mechanics and current promotions in the carrier's official social media communities and in the news section of the website.

Services

RusLine offers passengers standard service on board its Bombardier CRJ-100/200 jet airliners. The primary class of service is Economy Class, featuring comfortable seats with leather upholstery. The 2+2 cabin configuration eliminates inconvenient middle seats, providing extra comfort during the flight.

Food and drinks on board depend on the flight duration and the conditions of the selected fare. On short regional routes, passengers are typically offered soft drinks and light snacks. Passengers on higher fares can enjoy priority services, such as seat selection in the front of the cabin.

Special services are provided for passengers with children and travelers with limited mobility. RusLine provides an accompaniment service for children flying without parents, as well as assistance during boarding and disembarking for passengers with reduced mobility. Information regarding the need for special meals or additional assistance should be provided when booking the ticket.

Destinations

RusLine has a unique route network focused on direct flights between Russian regions. The airport in Naryan-Mar serves as the main link for many northern and central destinations, from where regular flights are operated to key industrial and administrative centers.

Travelers can take advantage of convenient flights to cities such as Ivanovo, Yaroslavl, Perm, and Tambov. During the summer period, the flight geography expands to include southern destinations, including flights to Sukhumi, providing tourists with quick access to vacation spots.

Booking Tips

To purchase RusLine tickets at the most favorable rates, it is recommended to start searching 45–60 days before the planned trip. The best deals are often available for mid-week flights, while tickets for Friday and Sunday are in high demand and cost more.

Online check-in on the website opens 24 hours before departure. We advise completing it in advance to gain access to the most comfortable seat selections in the cabin and to avoid queues at the airport. For those who value mobility, using the mobile app is the optimal solution, as all booking information is saved there.

When booking your ticket, pay attention to the fare conditions regarding refunds and exchanges, as well as the option to add insurance. A policy can cover expenses in case of flight delays or baggage loss, providing you with additional peace of mind during your journey.

History

The history of RusLine (7R) began in 1999. In the early stages of its existence, the company operated primarily in the charter and business aviation segments. However, by the early 2000s, priorities shifted toward the development of regular passenger services between Russian regions.

A major milestone in its development was a large-scale fleet renewal and the transition to operating modern Canadian Bombardier CRJ-100/200 aircraft. These jet airliners became the carrier's hallmark, allowing it to effectively connect cities where the use of larger aircraft was economically impractical. This strategic decision made RusLine one of the leaders in regional aviation.

Throughout its history, the company has systematically expanded its flight map, launching flights from Syktyvkar, Khanty-Mansiysk, and Beloyarsky. There were periods of active presence on international routes as well, but the focus on the domestic market has always remained a key element of the strategy.

Today, RusLine continues to improve its services by implementing digital technologies in the booking and check-in processes. Remaining true to its traditions of reliability, the airline remains an important link in the country's transport system, ensuring high mobility for the population in various corners of Russia.
