The Evangelical Lutheran Church in Grodno, also known as St. John's Lutheran Church, is a unique site for the country. It is the only active historic Lutheran church preserved within the borders of modern Belarus. This elegant stone building, constructed in the Neo-Gothic style, consistently attracts the attention of tourists with its slender bell tower and working clock.

Located in the city of Grodno, the church is not just a religious building but an important architectural monument of the 18th–19th centuries. Its history began with an unusual royal gift—the building of a former tavern, which over time was transformed into a majestic cathedral. In contrast to the opulent decoration of Catholic churches, the interior of the Lutheran church impresses with its noble simplicity and asceticism, characteristic of Protestant traditions.
Today, the church is open not only to parishioners but to all connoisseurs of history and music. Thanks to its magnificent acoustics, organ music evenings are often held here, while the carefully restored facades and the pastor's house create an atmosphere of peace in the heart of the busy city. This is a place where every stone reminds one of the region's multi-ethnic and multicultural past.
