The Timbaubas Municipal Natural Park is the true "green lungs" of the city of Juazeiro do Norte. Located in the state of Ceará, this protected site in Brazil covers over 634 hectares and serves as a vital ecological shield, preserving the riparian forests along the Salgadinho and Timbaubas rivers.

The park's main treasure is the picturesque Monkeys' Lagoon (Lagoa dos Macacos). It is not only a beautiful spot for contemplative relaxation but also a vital resource: the city receives up to 75% of its drinking water from here. The park is classified as a full nature protection unit, making it a unique place for environmental education and walks away from the city noise.
After a major renovation, the area has transformed into a modern recreation zone where wild nature meets comfortable infrastructure. It carefully protects 11 natural springs and unique local flora, creating conditions for maintaining biodiversity amidst active urbanization.
