This majestic monument, rising 72 meters above the ground, is considered the tallest in São Paulo. The Ibirapuera Obelisk, officially named the Obelisk and Mausoleum of the Heroes of 1932, is the primary symbol of the Constitutionalist Revolution and an important historical heritage site carefully preserved by Brazil.

Carved from pure travertine marble, the monument was designed by sculptor Galileo Ugo Emendabili. Its austere forms and four sides, oriented precisely to the cardinal points, are decorated with high reliefs telling the story of key milestones in the region's history. It is not just a column but a true pantheon: hidden inside is a spacious crypt in the shape of a Greek cross, where the heroes who gave their lives for the state's freedom are laid to rest.
Surrounded by well-kept lawns and located at the entrance to the famous Ibirapuera Park, the obelisk impresses with its monumentality. Special attention is drawn to the symbolic "sword-shaped lawn" at its base, highlighting the solemn status of this place of remembrance.
