Winters, on the other hand, are cold, with average temperatures below freezing (from -2°C to -4°C) from December to February. Spring and autumn are transitional seasons. Spring sees a gradual warming starting in March, while in autumn, especially from October, the temperature drops noticeably, preparing the city for winter. Precipitation in the off-season is moderate, but the number of "wet" days increases towards November, heralding the arrival of winter.

During this period, daytime highs regularly reach marks above 25°C (average maximum 25.7°C in July and 25.6°C in August), while nights bring coolness with average minimum temperatures of 12.3°C in July and 13.3°C in August. In summer, from June to August, it is usually warm and sunny here, the average temperature holds around 19-20°C, and the maximum can reach 25-26°C. For this period, you will need light clothing: t-shirts, shorts, dresses, as well as a swimsuit if you plan to relax by the lake. Do not forget sunscreen, a hat, and sunglasses. Comfortable shoes for walking around the city and its picturesque surroundings will be very useful. Evenings can be cool, so a light jacket or sweater will not be out of place.

Winter months, from December to February, as well as November, in Kelowna are cold, with average temperatures around -2°C and frequent precipitation, which at such temperatures falls as snow (in these months there are up to 17 days with precipitation). Therefore, your luggage must include a warm waterproof jacket, a hat, a scarf, gloves, and insulated waterproof shoes.
