The Tsingtao Beer Museum is a landmark site for all connoisseurs of beer and history, as it is the first beer museum in China. Located on the grounds of the famous Tsingtao Brewery in the city of Qingdao, it was officially opened in 2003 for the 100th anniversary of the brewery itself, which was founded by German settlers back in 1903.

A visit to the museum offers a fascinating dive into the world of brewing. Here you can explore the century-long history of the birth and development of brewing in Qingdao, see the technological process of producing the famous Tsingtao beer from start to finish, and touch the rich heritage of the brewery. This is not just a factory, but China's largest brewing company, holding a significant share of the domestic market.
Of particular interest is the museum's historical zone. It contains unique archival documents, vintage photographs telling the glorious chapters of the factory's history, and numerous awards testifying to the high quality of the products. The atmosphere of the past is complemented by a recreated old beer shop, where you can imagine what beer trade looked like many decades ago. Visitors can not only learn many new things but also, of course, taste the freshest beer right from the production line.
