There is something for everyone in this bustling shopping center. Shopping enthusiasts will find over a hundred stores featuring both well-known national brands such as Vélez, Totto, and Quest, as well as international footwear and clothing brands. Here, you can find quality leather goods, modern children's clothing at Offcorss, or stylish accessories.

After a successful shopping trip, it's worth heading to the food court, which features a variety of gastronomic concepts: from traditional Colombian cuisine at Don Jediondo to popular chain restaurants. For younger visitors, there is the Happy City play area, offering modern rides and safe spaces for active play.

You can continue your cultural program at the Royal Films cinema (also known as Teatro Cecilia), which features four modern screens. It's a great place to watch global premieres in comfort. Thanks to the well-thought-out relaxation areas and aesthetic design, even a simple stroll through the center's galleries is a pleasure and allows you to feel the pulse of the city's modern life.

Located in the Solarte sector, this shopping hub boasts excellent transport accessibility. If you are planning a trip by car, use the address Carrera 15 # 19A - 01 Sur. For visitors' convenience, there is a spacious surface parking lot with 350 spaces, making the visit as comfortable as possible even during peak hours.

History & Facts

The history of this facility is closely linked to the ambitious development of the country's southern region. Initially, another project was planned for this site — Centro Comercial Cinco, which was to be part of a large coffee park in 2007. However, due to legal complications regarding the land, construction was suspended until 2011, when the site was purchased by the Conconcreto S.A. group, breathing new life into the project under the Gran Plaza brand.

Construction of the complex took place in record time: the first phase, featuring the anchor hypermarket, opened just four months after major work began, in November 2011. The full launch of the second phase took place in April 2012, when the number of retail spaces increased to 123. This event was a true breakthrough for the city's economy, turning it into a key commercial hub for the department of Huila.

The building's ecological concept deserves special attention. The project was developed with LEED certification in mind, which was a rarity for the region in those years. Sustainable technologies were used during construction: Durapanel systems, lightweight roofing, and low-VOC paints. This makes the building not only modern but also environmentally responsible.

The total investment in the project exceeded 38 billion pesos. Today, it is not just a shopping destination, but a symbol of the city's architectural renewal, combining national shopping traditions with high international standards of comfort and safety.

Time Needed

For a leisurely stroll through the shops to explore the local brands, 2 hours is sufficient for most visitors. This time allows for a visit to the anchor hypermarket and a look around the main shopping galleries on the complex's single floor.

If you're planning a full family day out, including lunch at the food court and a visit to the cinema or the Happy City play area, it's worth setting aside 3 to 4 hours. A trip to the movies will add about two more hours to your schedule, making your stay here a pleasant conclusion to a busy day.
