Roihuvuori Cherry Park (Roihuvuoren kirsikkapuisto) is a charming corner of nature located in the eastern part of the city of Helsinki, Finland. This unique urban park is famous primarily for its impressive collection of Japanese cherry trees, or sakuras. Every spring, when about 240-250 trees bloom with delicate pink flowers, the park turns into a truly magical place, attracting both locals and tourists.

The park's creation was made possible through the initiative and support of Japanese companies and businesspeople working in Finland. In the late 2000s, they joined forces to gift the city this picturesque island of Japanese culture. Since then, Roihuvuori Cherry Park has become one of the main spots in Helsinki for Hanami, the traditional Japanese cherry blossom viewing.
The park is nestled on the southern slope of Roihuvuori Hill. An additional landmark and a kind of attraction is the futuristic water tower crowning the top of the hill, although it is no longer in use. Thanks to its picturesque landscape, abundance of green lawns, and, of course, the blooming cherries, the park is a favorite spot for walks, picnics, and peaceful outdoor relaxation within the city.
