The Norderneyer Kap (Cape Norderney Beacon) is a majestic historic navigation tower proudly rising on a 15-meter dune in the eastern part of the Norderney resort. It is not just an architectural structure, but the official symbol of the island, which has graced its coat of arms since 1928. In Germany, such objects are carefully protected as cultural heritage, serving as reminders of a time when the safety of sailors depended on such coastal landmarks.

The tower is a massive hexagonal structure made of reddish-brown brick, standing about 11.7 meters high. It is crowned with a unique wooden topmark—a topp—in the shape of an inverted triangle, making the tower's silhouette recognizable from afar. From the top of the Bakendüne (Beacon Dune), there are breathtaking views of the vast North Sea and the unique dune landscapes.
Today, this place attracts travelers not only for its history but also for its special atmosphere of tranquility. In 2015, the monument underwent a complete reconstruction, during which it was carefully dismantled and restored using 36,700 new bricks, while preserving its original appearance and 19th-century spirit.
