The KNUST Botanical Garden is a magnificent nature reserve and a true green oasis located on the grounds of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Kumasi. Covering an area of over 12.5 hectares, this garden is one of the most important biodiversity centers in Ghana and throughout West Africa.

The garden features a rich living collection of more than 700 plant species. Here, you can see majestic tropical trees, rare palm species, and elegant orchids. The site is particularly significant as a scientific research platform for studying ecology and methods for conserving the region's endangered flora.
For tourists, the garden is primarily attractive for its serene atmosphere and the opportunity to see Africa's wildlife within walking distance of the city center. In addition to plants, the garden serves as a sanctuary for many birds and vibrant butterflies, making every walk here a fascinating journey into the world of tropical fauna.
