Yarkon Park, also known as Joshua Gardens, is the largest urban park in Tel Aviv and one of the largest in all of Israel. Located in the northern part of the city along the river of the same name, it is rightfully considered the "green lungs" of the metropolis. The vast territory of the park, covering about 375 hectares, makes it the primary destination for recreation, sports, and cultural events.
Approximately 16 million people visit the park annually, reflecting its incredible popularity among residents and tourists alike. It is not just a green area, but an entire complex that includes botanical gardens, a rock garden, sports fields, a water park, and even a bird sanctuary. Here you can rent a bike, take a boat out on the lake, or simply have a picnic on one of the numerous lawns.
