Despite the duration of the transfers, this is the most budget-friendly and authentic way to reach the north-west of the country while observing the daily life of Ivorians.

Travelling by car to Odienné gives you freedom of movement and the chance to enjoy the shift in landscapes from green hills to the savannah. One of the most convenient routes is considered to be from the city of Korhogo: the distance of 240 kilometres on an asphalt road can be comfortably covered in 3.5–4 hours.
