However, it is worth remembering that in this warm region of Mexico, rains usually take the form of short-lived downpours that are quickly replaced by sunshine.

By November, the rainy season goes into decline (about 8 days with precipitation), preparing the region for a new dry cycle. Since Zihuatanejo is located in the tropical zone, snow never occurs here — precipitation falls exclusively as rain. When planning a trip in the summer-autumn period, it is worth being prepared for frequent but warm rains that bring pleasant freshness.
