Even in the "coldest" months, January and February, the daytime temperature in the city of Guelmim confidently stays at a pleasant mark of around +20…+22 °C. Winter here is not harsh at all: nights bring an invigorating freshness when the thermometer drops to +9…+11 °C, but severe cold should not be expected.

Despite the high thermometer readings, the heat is usually tolerated quite easily thanks to the dry air, as precipitation is practically non-existent during the summer period.

The difference between daytime warmth and nighttime coolness consistently remains around 10–12 degrees throughout the year. For example, even after a hot summer day, the night brings freshness with a temperature of around +19 °C. Therefore, when packing your suitcase, it makes sense to bring a light jacket or sweater for comfortable evening walks.

The climate in this region is characterized by exceptional dryness, so Guelmim rarely sees cloudy skies. Precipitation here is an episodic and scarce phenomenon, which is typical for the gateway to the Sahara.
