History & Facts

The history of Kalina Mall is an example of an ambitious project that only gained momentum over time. The idea of building a large shopping center in this area of Vladivostok originated back in 2012. Initially, it was planned to build a facility of about 40,000 square meters, which was significant for the city. However, as the concept was refined and market prospects analyzed, it became clear that the site had much higher potential. As a result, the decision was made to significantly increase the scale—first to 80,000–100,000, and finally to the impressive 108,000 square meters that the complex occupies today.

True professionals took on the implementation of such a large-scale vision. The architectural design and all necessary documentation were handled by the "Perspektiva" design bureau, known for its attention to detail and modern approach. An equally important task was attracting tenants capable of filling the future mall with diverse and high-quality offerings. This responsible mission was entrusted to the international consulting company CBRE Group, which has extensive experience in commercial real estate.

The project's practical implementation began after receiving a construction permit dated February 10, 2016. Construction work was intensive, and on April 27, 2019, the long-awaited official opening of Kalina Mall took place, becoming a notable event for all of Vladivostok. The Artayar company brought this grand project to life, investing about 3 billion rubles in its creation. These investments allowed for the creation of not just a shopping center, but a modern multifunctional space for shopping, relaxation, and entertainment for residents and guests of Russia.

Time Needed

When planning a visit to Kalina Mall, you should consider how much time you are ready to dedicate to shopping and entertainment. If your goal is to browse the shops, perhaps stop by a couple of cafes, and look around, 2–4 hours might be enough. This allows you to check out the mall's main offerings, make necessary purchases, and have a snack.

However, if you are traveling with children, plan to visit the cinema or entertainment areas like the rope park, or simply want to leisurely enjoy the atmosphere and all the mall's features, it is better to set aside half a day. This will allow you to explore all the stores you're interested in without rushing, let the children play to their heart's content, and get the most out of your visit to Vladivostok.

Working Hours

The Kalina Mall shopping and entertainment center in Vladivostok is typically open to visitors daily. According to available information, the complex's opening hours are from 10:00 to 22:00.
