Once on Historical Boulevard, it's impossible to pass by the majestic round building that houses the Panorama "Defense of Sevastopol 1854–1855". This is not just a museum, but a monumental tribute to heroism that has become a landmark of pride for Sevastopol and all of Ukraine.

At the center of the exhibition is a giant painting by the famous battle artist Franz Roubaud. It recreates the events of June 6, 1855 — the day of the assault on Malakoff Hill. Thanks to the combination of painting and a large-scale three-dimensional foreground, a remarkable sense of presence is created, transporting the viewer into the very heart of the historical events of the Crimean War.
The Panorama building, constructed in the early 20th century, is an architectural masterpiece in its own right. Today, this site attracts thousands of tourists eager to see one of the world's largest works of battle art and pay tribute to the city's defenders.
