Alserkal Avenue is more than just a street; it is an entire creative district and the pulsating heart of contemporary art in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Located in the Al Quoz industrial zone, this unique complex was once a series of industrial warehouses. Today, it has been transformed into a major cultural hub where, across an area of approximately 500,000 square feet, former warehouse spaces have found new life as galleries, design studios, and venues for cultural events.

Currently, Alserkal Avenue brings together over 70 leading art galleries, organizations working in the visual and performing arts, as well as design studios, local entrepreneurial projects, and public spaces. It has become the epicenter of art and culture development in the region, offering visitors a rich program of exhibitions, performances, lectures, and workshops reflecting both local and global trends.
One of the jewels of Alserkal Avenue is the "Concrete" multi-purpose space, which opened in 2017. This landmark project, the first work by the world-renowned OMA architectural firm under Rem Koolhaas to be completed in the UAE, serves as a venue for a wide variety of events—from major art exhibitions and theater productions to fashion shows and educational programs. Its flexible structure allows the space to be adapted for any need, making "Concrete" a true magnet for contemporary art and architecture enthusiasts.
