Leicht Memorial Park is a modern and vibrant public space situated on the banks of the Fox River in Green Bay, USA. Spanning approximately 2.6 acres, this "festival" park serves as the premier venue for the region's most significant cultural and entertainment events.
The park was established on the site of the historic Fort Howard thanks to a generous donation from the Leicht Transfer & Storage company in 1999. Today, it attracts thousands of visitors not only with its manicured lawns and walking trails but also with a unique atmosphere that blends rich historical heritage with modern urban comfort.
One of the park's main highlights is the monument to Zachary Taylor, the 12th President of the United States, who once commanded the local garrison. The park grounds are currently undergoing a major renovation, which will introduce a new modern pavilion and cozy waterfront relaxation areas.
