One of the most interesting features of Feitoria da Cerveja is its flat pricing concept. Whether you choose a light, refreshing pilsner or a complex, full-bodied ale, the cost depends only on the glass size. This approach allows visitors to Brazil to freely experiment with different flavors without worrying about the price tag of each individual variety.

The atmosphere is strictly styled: rock music sets the mood, and you won't find cocktails or full meals on the menu. This place was created exclusively to highlight the taste of beer through specially selected snacks and conversation among like-minded people. It is a true temple of craft, where every detail emphasizes respect for brewing traditions.

What to Do

The main reason to visit Feitoria da Cerveja is the tasting. The bar features nine beer taps simultaneously, with a regularly updated selection. You can try both classic varieties and bold, experimental new releases with high hop content. It’s the perfect place for those looking to expand their knowledge of the craft brewing world and exchange opinions on ingredients with other patrons.

In addition to the drinks, guests are offered a concise snack menu, including cold cuts and peanuts, which perfectly complement the hoppy flavors. If you want to do more than just drink, look out for their educational programs. The venue often hosts basic brewing courses, lectures on the history of styles, and even consultations on developing recipes for homebrewers.

Evenings here are accompanied by rock music, creating a great backdrop for casual conversation. Interacting with the bartenders and owners, who are experts themselves, allows you to dive deeper into the brewing process and learn production secrets you won't find in typical guidebooks.

History & Facts

The history of this place began in 2014 as a hobby shared by three friends. Fabio, a financial analyst, Wesley, a math teacher, and Semir, a practicing physician, were brought together by a shared passion for craft brewing. What started with a few bottles of homebrew soon grew into something more when the friends realized there was a lack of quality ingredients in their region.

In 2017, they decided to open their own shop to supply other enthusiasts with equipment and raw materials that previously had to be ordered from afar. Initially, Feitoria da Cerveja was intended to be a retail outlet and educational center, featuring a small tasting room with nine taps at the shop. The creators simply wanted to give customers the chance to try what they could brew themselves.

However, the success exceeded all expectations. Within the first month, the tasting room became so popular that the business focus shifted from selling ingredients to the culture of consumption within the venue itself. In just eight months, sales reached an impressive 5,000 liters per month, turning the cozy shop into one of the city's most iconic beer pubs.

Time Needed

To fully appreciate the range of craft beers and soak up the atmosphere, 1–2 hours is usually enough. This provides plenty of time for a leisurely tasting of several sets and a light snack in the company of friends or other craft enthusiasts.

If you happen to catch one of the educational courses or decide to discuss recipes in detail with local experts, your visit might last longer. Nevertheless, for a standard tourist visit, a couple of hours is the optimal choice, allowing you to enjoy rock music and a high-quality drink without any rush.
