The wet season, covering the period from May to October, brings higher temperatures and increased rainfall. At this time of year, the thermometer often rises above +30°C, and the number of rainy days increases to 20–23 per month. However, the rains here are often powerful but short-lived tropical downpours that quickly give way to sunshine and bring a welcome freshness after the midday heat.

Trinidad welcomes travelers with a warm tropical climate that maintains comfortable levels throughout the year. There is practically no cold weather here, and temperatures change gradually. The hottest months are traditionally July and August, when the average temperature stays around 27.5°C, and during daytime hours, the air often warms up to 32°C. January is considered the "coolest" month, but even then, the average temperature is a pleasant 22.2°C.

The summer period is characterized by true Caribbean heat: from June to September, daytime highs consistently exceed the 30°C mark. Winter, by contrast, is exceptionally mild and is considered the ideal time for excursions. From December to February, the daytime air warms up to a comfortable 26–28°C, allowing you to enjoy the city's architecture and nature without the exhausting heat.
