Dolní Vítkovice is not just a landmark, but an entire world of industrial heritage located in the city of Ostrava. This unique complex in the Czech Republic is a former industrial district where metallurgical and coking plants bustled with life for nearly two centuries. Today, it is a place where industrial history meets modern art and culture.

Transformed from a giant factory into a large-scale cultural and educational center, Dolní Vítkovice has been recognized as a European industrial heritage site. The complex's territory is immense and includes preserved blast furnaces, mine headframes, and other production structures that now serve as venues for exhibitions, concerts, and festivals.
Visitors can climb to the top of a blast furnace for a panoramic view of the city, wander through labyrinths of steel structures, and learn about the iron production process. The combination of raw industrial aesthetics and modern architectural solutions creates a unique atmosphere, making Dolní Vítkovice one of the most impressive and unusual attractions not only in the Czech Republic but in all of Central Europe.
