In the heart of the historic quarter of Nancy stands the magnificent Basilica of Saint-Epvre (Basilique Saint-Epvre) — a true masterpiece of 19th-century Neo-Gothic architecture. This majestic temple, located in France, catches the eye with its elegant facade and refined spires, harmoniously blending into the Old Town ensemble.

The basilica was built on the site of an ancient 14th-century church under the guidance of architect Prosper Morey. Today, it is a historical monument and is famous for its rich interior decoration. Visitors are particularly impressed by the glowing stained-glass windows, created by Austrian masters, and the intricate wood carvings brought from Bavaria.
One of the basilica's unique features is its close connection with the European aristocracy: here you can see altars donated by Emperor Franz Joseph and his wife Sissi. Thanks to its architectural lightness and spiritual significance, the Basilica of Saint-Epvre is considered one of the most beautiful and visited churches in Lorraine, holding a high rating among travelers from all over the world.
