Imagine a place where the laws of physics become tangible and the stars seem to be within arm's reach. The Regional Science Centre and Planetarium Calicut is a modern educational complex in the city of Kozhikode, designed to awaken the excitement of exploration in every guest. Opened in early 1997, it has evolved into one of the most popular science hubs that India is proud of.

The heart of the complex is the 250-seat planetarium, equipped with high-tech projection equipment from the German company Carl Zeiss. Hundreds of shows are held here annually, immersing viewers in the mysteries of distant galaxies and planets. The center's grounds, spanning about 15,000 square feet, are filled with interactive zones where learning turns into an engaging game.

Of particular interest is the entomological section, "Giants of Nature," which features impressive models of prehistoric creatures and insects, offering a fresh perspective on the evolution of life on Earth.
