Standing tall in the central square of the city of Osh is one of the most recognizable symbols of a bygone era — the Lenin Monument. This site is an outstanding example of Soviet monumental art and a key part of the architectural identity of the southern capital, for which Kyrgyzstan is famous.

The modern statue reaches an impressive height of 11 meters and is set upon a powerful 12-meter pedestal. The monument draws the eye with its scale and simplicity, blending harmoniously with the ensemble of government buildings and spacious alleys. For tourists, it is not just a historical artifact but a landmark point for exploring the region's cultural landscape.
Previously, an even more grandiose bronze colossus stood on this very spot, which was considered the tallest in Central Asia. Despite changes to the square's appearance, the current monument continues to highlight Osh's historical role as a key cultural and administrative center in the south of the country.
