Located on the picturesque island of Wan Man, the Islamic Civilization Park (Taman Tamadun Islam) is a unique open-air cultural space in the city of Kuala Terengganu. This place is not just a museum, but an entire educational complex sprawling along the riverbank, where the grandeur of Islamic architecture meets the hospitable atmosphere of Malaysia.

The main feature of the park is its collection of 22 detailed replicas of the most famous Islamic monuments from around the world. Here you can see scaled-down copies of India's Taj Mahal, the Dome of the Rock from Jerusalem, and the Great Mosque of Samarra. Each model is built at a scale of 1:17 to 1:22 and is accompanied by information panels revealing the historical significance of the originals.
A particular point of pride for the park is the Crystal Mosque — an architectural masterpiece made of steel and mirrored glass that has become the signature landmark of the region. In addition to the monumental part, the complex houses a museum featuring artifacts, multimedia displays, and artworks that tell the story of the great scientific achievements of the Islamic world.
The park is open to visitors of all faiths and is an ideal destination for family outings and educational tours. The peaceful setting on the banks of the Terengganu River invites leisurely strolls and immersion into the rich history of human civilization.
