The majestic Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah Mosque (IIUM Kuantan) is more than just a place of worship; it is a true spiritual center located on the campus of the International Islamic University Malaysia. Situated in the city of Kuantan, this architectural masterpiece serves as a symbol of harmony between faith and the pursuit of knowledge.

Completed in 1997, the mosque building is impressive in its scale: the main dome, with a diameter of 17 meters, and the slender 39-meter minaret are visible from afar. Its appearance, featuring turquoise-green tiles, resembles the holy sites of Mecca and Medina, while the sunlight reflecting off the dome's surface creates the effect of shimmering waves. The main prayer hall can accommodate up to 9,000 worshippers, making it one of the most significant mosques in the state of Pahang.
The mosque occupies a central position in the "Garden of Knowledge and Virtue," connecting all the university's functional centers. Surrounded by lush tropical greenery and picturesque hills, it creates an atmosphere of deep tranquility, inviting both students and visitors to reflection and prayer.
