Gandantegchinlen Monastery, whose full name is Gandan Tegchinlen Khiid, is the largest and one of the most significant Buddhist monasteries in Mongolia. Located in the capital city, Ulaanbaatar, this active monastery for monks belongs to the Tibetan Buddhist tradition and the Gelug order, playing a vital role in the spiritual life of Mongolians.
