The park occupies a vast green area skillfully laid out with manicured gardens, shady paths, and numerous cozy spots for relaxation. Thanks to its prime location and beautiful landscaping, Riyam Park has become a favorite place for leisurely walks, family picnics, and simply spending time for both locals and tourists exploring Muscat.
One of the main and most recognizable features of the park is its impressive architectural landmark – the giant decorative incense burner. It rises majestically on a hill and is visible from many points in the city. This monumental monument was built in honor of Oman's 20th National Day and has since become one of the prominent symbols of not just the park, but all of Muscat, attracting attention with its uniqueness and cultural significance.
