King Fahd's Fountain, also known as the Jeddah Fountain, is one of the most impressive and iconic landmarks of Jeddah in Saudi Arabia. Located on the Red Sea coast, it proudly holds the title of the tallest fountain in the world, mesmerising viewers with its incredible power and beauty.

Traveller photos:
This grand engineering masterpiece shoots a powerful jet of water to a staggering height of 312 meters. To put that scale into perspective, this height even exceeds the famous Eiffel Tower (excluding its antenna). Thanks to these impressive dimensions, the fountain is visible from almost anywhere in Jeddah, serving as a magnificent landmark and symbol of the city.
A unique feature of the fountain is its use of saltwater, which is supplied directly from the Red Sea. The mass of water constantly "hanging" in the air is approximately 18.8 tons. King Fahd's Fountain operates almost continuously, providing an unforgettable sight, except during maintenance periods or during strong southern winds that can deflect the giant water jet.
