Abraj Al-Bait Towers is a magnificent complex of modern skyscrapers rising in the heart of the holy city of Mecca in Saudi Arabia. This impressive architectural ensemble is located directly opposite the entrance to the Masjid al-Haram, which houses the main shrine of Islam—the Kaaba. Due to its location and scale, the towers have become one of the most recognizable symbols of the city.

The complex holds several world records: it is the most massive building in the world, as well as the tallest building in Saudi Arabia. In world rankings, it is second in height only to a few skyscrapers, such as the Burj Khalifa and the Shanghai Tower. The ensemble consists of seven towers, each bearing a name associated with Islamic history.
The central and tallest element of the complex is the Makkah Royal Clock Tower, at the top of which giant clocks with a diameter of 43 meters are installed. Their faces are visible from almost any point in Mecca and are illuminated by millions of LEDs at night. Inside the tower is a hotel offering guests breathtaking views of the shrine.
The main purpose of the Abraj Al-Bait complex is to accommodate the enormous flow of pilgrims arriving in Mecca to perform the Hajj. The hotels located in the towers are capable of hosting up to 100,000 people simultaneously, providing them with comfortable accommodation in the immediate vicinity of their main travel goal.
