Karon Beach (Thai: หาดกะรน) is one of the longest and most popular beaches on Phuket island in Thailand. It is nestled on the west coast of the island, in a picturesque bay between the famous beaches of Patong and Kata. Due to its popularity, Karon Beach is Phuket's second-largest resort center after Patong, offering a well-developed infrastructure and a variety of entertainment options.

The coastline of Karon Beach is about 3.5 kilometers long, and its width is sufficient to comfortably accommodate all visitors. Karon's coast is roughly divided into two main parts: Karon Noi Beach and Karon Beach, which extends to Cape Sai, separating it from Kata Beach. The main highlight of the beach is its unique "singing sand"—very fine, white with a slight yellowish tint, which, due to its high quartz content, makes a characteristic squeaking sound when walking, similar to the crunch of snow.
Karon Beach is municipal, so entry is completely free. It is a wonderful place not only for daytime relaxation and swimming but also for evening walks. The convenient location allows tourists staying in this area to watch the magnificent sunsets for which Phuket is so famous every evening. The beach is located about 20 kilometers from Phuket Town and 45 kilometers from Phuket International Airport, making it easily accessible for travelers.
