Situated in the heart of the historic Kayalıbağ district, the Atatürk Museum is a unique monument of architecture and history. This two-story 19th-century brick mansion, standing on the picturesque Seyhan Avenue, once served as a temporary residence for the great Turkish leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk. It was here, in the city of Adana, that the first president of modern Turkey stayed in the spring of 1923.

Today, the building functions as a house-museum, opened in 1981. In its halls, the atmosphere of those years has been carefully recreated: from the study and library to the cozy living room and bedroom. Visitors can see personal belongings of the national hero, rare archival documents, and photographs that allow them to touch upon important pages in the formation of the Republic of Turkey.
The site's authenticity and high regard among tourists give it special value. Thanks to its convenient location near the city's main landmarks, such as the Stone Bridge, the museum becomes an essential stop on the itinerary for anyone wanting to better understand the cultural code and contemporary history of the region.
