Imagine a majestic Tudor-style estate suddenly appearing among the rolling hills of Ohio. Glamorgan Castle is an architectural gem tucked away in the cozy town of Alliance. Built at the very beginning of the 20th century as the private residence of steel tycoon William Henry Morgan, it became a symbol of success and devotion to his roots, named after the Welsh region of Glamorgan.

The exterior of this building in the USA captures the imagination with its simultaneous massiveness and elegance. It took 96 railcars of white Vermont marble to face the facade. The walls are at least 13 inches (33 cm) thick, making the structure look like a real medieval fortress adapted for the luxury lifestyle of the early 1900s.
Today, this historic site is not just an architectural monument but also an important cultural center. Inside lie luxurious interiors where European classics meet American scale. The castle's main treasure is considered to be its unique Italian crystal chandelier — it is said that only two such works exist in the world.
