Travelling by car is one of the most popular and flexible ways to get to Cheyenne. The fastest route runs from the city of Fort Collins: the distance of 74 km can be covered in just 50 minutes. The journey will take a similar amount of time from neighbouring Laramie, which is located approximately 80 km away.

If you are departing from the city of Scottsbluff, the path will be slightly longer — about 159 km, which will require approximately 1 hour 35 minutes behind the wheel. Renting a car or using a taxi on these routes allows tourists to independently plan their time and stops.

To ensure your trip to Cheyenne is as comfortable and safe as possible, it is worth preparing in advance for the peculiarities of the local climate and lifestyle. Here are some practical recommendations for tourists.
