Roeding Park is a large and popular city park located in Fresno, California, USA. Founded back in 1903 thanks to a generous land gift from the Roeding family, the park covers an impressive area—reported to be between 36 and 60 hectares—and serves as the green heart of the city, offering many opportunities for relaxation and entertainment.

One of the main attractions drawing many visitors to Roeding Park is the Fresno Chaffee Zoo. It occupies about a third of the park's total area in its southern section and offers a fascinating encounter with a variety of wildlife.
In addition to the zoo, there are other interesting places within Roeding Park. In the southwest corner, the Storyland and Playland theme areas await guests, which are especially popular with families with children. A picturesque lake is nestled between these areas. The rest of the park features several ponds and shady groves with ash, cedar, pine, eucalyptus, maple, and redwood trees. Tennis courts are available for sports enthusiasts, and special areas are designated for those wishing to have an outdoor picnic. Another interesting detail of the park is the vintage Southern Pacific locomotive, which adds historical character to the site.
