Klamath Ranger Station is a unique historic complex and an active administrative center located in southern Oregon, USA. The station is part of the Fremont-Winema National Forest and is situated in close proximity to the scenic Lake of the Woods, approximately 53 km from the city of Klamath Falls.
The ensemble consists of eight buildings constructed in the Cascadian Rustic style. The architecture is dominated by natural materials: local stone, peeled logs, and wooden shingles. One of the most interesting structures is the historic barn with characteristic gables adorned with decorative carvings.
Today, this site holds protected status and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. During the summer, an information center is open here, where visitors can learn about local ecosystems, obtain trail maps, and get useful tips for traveling through Oregon's forests.
