The drive from neighbouring Marabá is considered one of the most convenient: the distance is about 234 km, and the journey usually takes just under 4 hours. A similar route in terms of time leads from Araguaína, from where you will have to drive around 251 km, which will also require about four hours behind the wheel.

For those departing from Parauapebas, the journey will be longer — the distance reaches 388 km, and the travel time will be about 6 hours. For such transfers, tourists often prefer to rent a car, as an intercity taxi in Brazil can cost a significant amount, although it provides maximum comfort without the need to focus on driving.
